45Baht for a train ticket and 5 hours later ($1.50) we were at the boarder of Cambodia. It was a long bus ride and not that comfortable but for that cheap we didn't care.
The seats were not so comfortable but they worked out well
Lucas and I thought that it would be a good idea to check out the back of the train...
Hanging out the back of the Train, we later got yelled out for doing it though
Our trip started out in Siam Rep and we had a great time. To get there though we had to take bus. Of course we got a beer for the road.
The crazy thing about Cambodia was that they have their own currency, but they still used US dollars. Everything on the menus were in dollars. When you go to an ATM you get dollars out of the machine no riel (the cambodian currency) If you still had Baht though, you could use that as well...
This is the beer of Cambodia... it is actually really good!!
We had a 3 hour bus ride from the boarder to Siam Rep..
After the bus ride we found some Tuk Tuk drivers and they took us to an area that was not flooded.... our original plan was to go to a hostel called Sweet Dreams, but we found out that it was flooded...
We got settled in our hostel and decided to walk through the flooded streets....
However, the streets were flooded...
Dani and Lucas had a little water fight..
We decided to get some beers at a local bar
CHULA!!! Dom, Dani, Lizette, Lucas, Hannah, and Jan
The currency that is used. This is a really old one though
The hotel we stayed at had really cute puppies that we couldn't help but play with!!!
